We are PROUD to serve our community with love and determination to improve the quality of life for Fort Washington, MD and Prince George’s County, MD residents by providing education initiatives that promote self-reliance, self-empowerment, and self-determination.

The Southern Prince Georges County Community Charities (SPGCCC) is a non-profit organization, who’s educational and charitable endeavors are supported and endorsed by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Upsilon Tau Omega (UTO) Chapter.
SPGCCC sponsors programs that impact the lives of elementary, middle and high school students, as well as senior citizens in the community. Additionally, SPGCCC supports academic scholarships, and community service programs and activities sponsored by the UTO Chapter including youth development programs addressing leadership and life skills development, and literacy; workshops and educational forums addressing health , economic, global poverty, environmental sustainability and energy conservation concerns.
We encourage and welcome support of our programs from community members and the business entities within it. Together, we can continue our strong legacy of service to the overall community.
Donations to SPGCCC, Inc. are tax deductible and will support programs for education, youth and leadership.

FUNDRAISING
The organization relies heavily on the generosity and support from the members, corporate sponsors, private donors as well as sponsored fundraising activities to help meet its mission to provide support to the charitable, educational, cultural and general welfare of the economically and socially disadvantage residents of Southern Prince George’s County Maryland.
SCHOLARSHIPS
2023 APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!
In partnership with Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter, SPGCCC offers scholarships to qualified high school students, who plan to attend college, each year. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, individual motivation and the students must reside in or attend high school in Districts 8 or 9 in Southern Prince George's County."
