The SPGCCC Scholarship Committee's primary role is to evaluate applications and award scholarships to qualified candidates based on predetermined criteria. Active participation responsibilities include implementing the approved selection criteria, reviewing applications for factors like academic merit, need, and leadership, and making final decisions on who receives a scholarship. Committee members also actively participate in the logistics, such as outreach to high schools and universities, promoting the scholarship opportunity and informing recipients; providing technology and media support, review of processes and procedures and planning and execution of an annual awards recognition program for recipients.
